miscreation toys' the burden revealed

TOYSREVIL: what is The Burden? [teased]
JEREMI RIMEL: "The Burden" is a one of a kind custom Think-UP bust I've done in a new series of original customs that are available only through auction. Other customs in the series include a "Deranged" zombie bust that was the first ever customized Think-UP bust. A "Forest Creeper" and a "Blood Widow" finish off the first 4-piece ultra-rare series.

TOYSREVIL: where should interested folks go to bid for your customs?
JEREMI RIMEL: Auction links are provided on miscreationtoys.com (1.11.08) and will run approx. 7 days. [Editor's note: current bid-price starts from US$199-per]
TOYSREVIL: why the name "The Burden"?
JEREMI RIMEL: With my artwork I like to leave room for the imagination, I usually start an idea then the viewer completes it with how they perceive things. Many people who see a toy that resembles Hitler will immediately rush to judgment and think I'm a Nazi or something. That's really not the case, I just think certain "burdens" in history shouldn't be forgotten because history will just repeat itself. /// CLICK HERE TO READ MORE AND VIEW CUSTOMS

TOYSREVIL: well noted. and scarily true tho. how has Think-Up been doing thus far, Jeremi? how has the response been?
JEREMI RIMEL: I've had a great welcome into the world of vinyl art toys, artists and collectors really seem to support what I'm doing. Miscreation Toys along with a few other toy companies and DC artists recently sponsored a charity event in DC titled "Say Whaaat" that raised some money for the less fortunate. That was a rewarding experience and really showed some possibilities of the platform.

TOYSREVIL: what's next for Miscreation Toys and Think-UPs?
JEREMI RIMEL: At this point I would really like to do a Think-UP custom contest! I am still planning it out so keep an eye on www.miscreationtoys.com for details.
TOYSREVIL: sounds good from where im blogging at, duder! best of luck for 2008, Jeremi!
