halo 3 master chief kubricks series 2 collection by medicom
i remember holding the box-set of the Halo3 Kubricks in my grubby hands late last year, and was surprisingly aching to bring them home with me (no doubt due to extreme *toy-withdrawal-symptoms*, but alas "desire" and "financial-ability" could not agree with each other dammit) and now Series 2 is coming out already?
made by Medicom and scheduled for an early August 2008-drop, the Halo 3 Master Chief Kubricks Series 2 Collection features a 4-Pack which includes a traditional GREEN, STEEL, GOLD and WHITE versions, and reportedly a rare PURPLE chase version (how that is included in a 4-pack ratio, i know not at this time - mayhap a randomly-inserted *redeemable-ticket*?) ... ADDED: peep a possible chase theory ("short-boxed") in the comments section, cpurtesy of reader TSR (you rawk!)

Hopefully the purple is distributed the same way as the black was in the first set. In the US (can't be certain if this was the same way everywhere), there were six sets (of the four chiefs) per case. And one set of four included the black chief in place of the clear. I spoke to multiple vendors to make sure this is how it worked, and they all verified that every single case of 6 they received, had 1 set that had the black chief in it.
