of neca's gears of war action figures @ newyorktoyfair and dajoint's zmdc 1/6

yep, yet another series of toys based on a video game that i am totally unfamiliar with: Epic Games' GEARS OF WAR action figures - as seen during New York Toy Fair 2008 [via Wizard] - which leaves me not much to expound on [read here instead] - except that they look uber-cool, and that they'd totally look super-cool in 1:6-scale, very reminiscent of DaJoint's ZMDC 1/6th figure series, IMHO. and damn i lurved them chunky-mechas, in what i personally deem to be the BEST-EVER 1/6th-series that never continued on ... and i seriously wish i had them all ... but would NECA ever upsize GOW into full-fledged 1/6th? besides the point-of-post, i know ... heh.
