wwr info dump three: desert rat + dirty deeds bertie (eta april)

brand new ammo-pouches+gear and tan weathered weapons for the Desert Rat Bertie Variant, while the Dirty Deeds Bertie brandishes a f**king bigassmachete and a zombie-perp's head (now THAT's mofo badassed blackop-wetworks-shitte right here!) ... also do look out for another special version of Bertie available at NYCC (April 18-20)! *stay tuned for more details*

I wish they would give a date!!
ReplyDeleteApril is far enough to save some more pennies, but I sooooo want that dirty deeds Berti! Including zombiehead!!
That Zombie head is sweet! These can't come out soon enough. Congrats Klim.
ReplyDeleteBobinski
nice!
ReplyDeletewhen will we stop seeing pictures and start seeing product! Somehow this piece is getting old and it hasn't even come out yet!! They started teasing this waaaay to early if you ask me. (though I still want one!) Do we know the cost on this puppy yet?
ReplyDeleteI am sorry George, that you can not appreciate the ammount of time and energy that a project of this magnitude takes to realize. you will see Bertie at NYCC and the price will be in the 250-300 range.
ReplyDeletemaybe once you see the figure in person you will change your mind about it being "Old"
the standard development/production time on most simple figures is 4-6 months, so when you compare this to a basic vinyl figure we are still way ahead of the game
Thanks Sjors and Chris

is this the first piece from this artist?
ReplyDeleteMan, that's really cool. I want one. Or both.
ReplyDeleteThey started promoting it early but it's looking better and better every time!
ReplyDeleteCan't say that for many 'fresh' toys.
will there be an weapon set for the dirty deeds variant? that is an amazing thing you guys have created, cant wait!!
ReplyDeleteKlim,
ReplyDeleteonce my jaw dropped when you started filling Berties toolbelt, but man. Zombie-fckng-head!
What else you have in your sleeve?
Please please, I need them badly here.

while tis not been said nor mentioned (and i can't speak for Klim & Co. who're doing a bang-up job on Bertie anyways) ... i reckon tis not just been only teasers that we've been shown (or i've been posting near religiously), tis that we've all been able to witness the development of the figure as well, from it's initial proto, to it's SDCC debut (handpainted proto, no less) to it's current incarnation with jazzed-up new accessories and even mecha surface treatment ....
ReplyDeleteand no, not that that has been able to quell my dsire and lust for Bertie (& darnnit i really really want them ALL), but it has gotten me excited each time "new" stuff pops up ... and my appreciation for the chance to see the development, enhances the figure beyond just a piece of collectible plastic ... but that's just me folks :)
