play to-fu prototype mini vinyl by devilrobots x play imaginative

here's a toysrevil-exclusive first-look at a prototype of the upcoming PLAY TO-FU articulated mini vinyl Series 1 figures by Devilrobots x Play Imaginative [blogged] - shown standing next to the STCC BE@RBRICK (for scale) as snapped during the Singapore Toy & Comic Convention Press Conference earlier this afternoon just :)

standing 2.5-inches tall, Play To-Fu mini vinyl Series 1 features 6 classic designs such as Pirate To-Fu, and Mother & Son To-Fu, as well as 6 brand new AlphabeTo-Fus (alphabets A - F / PEEP) - making up a total number of 12 basic figures and additional 2 super rare mystery designer crossovers. with a SRP of US$7-per blind boxed figure (25#s per display carton), the series will make their appearance during STCC, as well as being one of the exclusive giveaways in the STCC Passport Program [DETAILS] CLICK THRU for more snaps, as well as my impressions on the figure :)




TRE-IMPRESSIONS: based on the size, it literally fits into the grasp of a hand (should've sanpped a pic of figure in my hand, my bad :p), as well as sit snuggly in a pocket (as it did for the duration of the press con opening address LOL). basic-5-point-articulation with the figure being able to stand straight on it's own even with the enlarged to-fu head (which is not to say tis safe from shelf-dives with given force applied, duh :p) looking at the previous proto-image and the figure now, seems the legs are ever so slightly stubbier, which i personally think gels well with the baby-tofu-belly, which makes it cuter LOL - quite precious this - hee :) - can't wait to see the designs applied tho!


and the head pops-out just fine, pretty nifty for customizing, no? IMHO anyways :)
