new sdcc smash from joe ledbetter x toy2r? (Swamp Yeti Smash)
UPDATED 30.05.2008:Qee4all officially drops word that it is indeed the green SWAMP YETI SMASH - set for a debut at the Taipei Toy Festival (July 10-13) @ Toy2R Booth #A18,A19 - where 100 pcs will be made available.
It is mentioned that another 100-pcs are set for San Diego Comic-Con, making a total of 200-pcs (am trying to figure out how that tallies with Wizard's advance orders tho - mildly confused). SRP - as mentioned earlier - is pegged at US$129 per ... meanwhile CLICK THRU to read what has been posted prior to the "official reveal" :)

Qee4All drops this teaser with what seems to be a brand new SMASH? (FYI: Thus far Joe Ledbetter X Toy2R has a total number of 5 SMASH colorways).
The image-name reads: "XFILE1.jgp" - which may be X-Files movie related? But a quick check shows the X-Files 2: I Want To Believe film premiering 24th July instead ... but the code on top-left of image reads: 082408EX - which may suggest 08-24-08 - which also happens to be the last day of the Beijing Olympics on 24th August - so perhaps a commemorative item? ... but of coz Toy2R head-honcho debunked everything by mentioning: "to be out at July 2008" [via] ...
UPDATED: and so Jamie's tracked down a listing on Wizard for the GREEN SWAMP YETI SMASH SDCC Exclusive 7-incher @ a SRP of US$129.99 at a 100-pcs limit (which may just be for Wizard-orders?) ... it may go along a similar convention toxic-theme ala Toxic Swamp Bear of SDCC'07 (cheers for the headsup, J!) ... meanwhile here are a coupla (awful) quickie-photoshops i did of variant SMASHs which i dare not show in the front-page light-of-day LOL :p
BLACK and Red becoz tis mysterious and "deadly"? ... altho it does look like a SITH-SMASH now LOL ... RED and Yellow becoz tis the colors of the Chinese Flag? heh
