toy-taster: 1/6 rah mutt williams and indiana jones by medicom toy

with the new Indiana Jones: Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull movie currently in theaters, and announcements of production 1/6th-scaled figures focusing primarily on the earlier Indy-movies - from Medicom Toy's Crusade and Sideshow Collectibles' Raiders, one wonders whether anyone would be making a "higher-end" version (as opposed to Hasbro's current mass-market series) of the current movie ... and from these toy-taster-sneaks (courtesy of toybeast), seems Medicom Toy's set to fulfill fanboys' collective wishes - with the 1/6th-scaled Real Action Heroes articulated figures of MUTT WILLIAMS and INDIANA JONES! While I reckon Shia LaBeouf's likeness is a tad off (at least give him his "curry-pok" hairdo) it still attempts to retain Henry "Mutt" Williams' "intensity", which perhaps is a "kinder" rendition compared to the decidedly aged-look of Harrison Ford's Dr. Jones (at the very least sparing him the white-hairs :p). No word on whether the Crystal Skull would be a part of Indy's "props" (would be cool tho, innit?). Currently no product details nor bigger images are available - but be sure to tuned in to THIS BLOG for updates!
Meanwhile, I may attempt to watch the film in the cinemas, becoz frankly, I can't remember much of my past pexperiences, beyond what was on the silver-screen itself ... me? am on the lookout for Cate Blanchett's "Irina Spalko" (somebody make her a 1/6-figure fast!) - give her Indy's whip, and we'll be in biznez! *KER-RACK!* LOL
