ABOUT THE LOOK OF TWO-FACE: "That's right, people don't really know yet," actor Aaron Eckhart said with grin. "I can tell you that, basically, when you look at Two-Face, you should get sick to your stomach. Being the guy under all that, well, that was a lot of fun for me. It's like you would feel if you met someone whose face had pretty much been ripped off or burned off with acid. I can't talk about it beyond that because I don't want to give away too much of the plans by Chris Nolan"
Eckhart additionally mentioned that the wounds are structurally deeper than in the comics: "There are fans on the Internet who have done artist's versions of what they think it will look like, and I can tell you this: They're thinking small; Chris is going way farther than people think."

/// I don't know about you folks, but hell if the above image goes into the realm of the fantastic and perhaps even a tad of unbelievable - but then again, in a movie where a Man dressed up as a Bat to fight crime, the exercise of creative license trumps all! Personally, from the very few images of Harvey shown thus far (obviously overshadowed by Heath Ledger's Joker) I'd appreciated a whole lot of foreshadowing for Dent, some subtle, some not at all, with his face lighted down the middle - if this be the case, then kudos to all folks and craftsmen involved :)
ON JUSTICE VS VIGILANTEISM: "The difference between Batman and Two-Face is how far they are willing to go and how they make their point," Eckhart said. "Otherwise, we're talking about vigilante crime-fighting. That's what Batman is all about. He has a strong sense of justice. And Harvey Dent has an extremely strong sense of justice. His fiancée is killed. He's horribly injured. But he is still true to himself. He's a crime fighter, he's not killing good people. He's not a bad guy, not purely." /// Before I've halted my current habit of comics-collecting (due to abject lack of finances *sob*), I'd near stopped collecting the various Batman-comicbooks (which were too many to begin with, and the strain showed thru, IMHO) - I remember a short period, where a "reformed" Harvey Dent, was actually sanctioned (and trained) by Batman, to help keep the peace in Gotham City during the ONE YEAR LATER storyline (and by then Dent's face had been repaired via plastic surgery during the HUSH story-period) - now, personally, I thought that was pretty darn cool, until of course the inevitable spiraling down a familiar dark path led to Dent scarring himself with acid ... and this current movie plot-point "connection" is a nice touch, IMHO (where or not tis deliberate, I know not tho).
WHO IS TWO-FACE?

/// my personal assessment: Two-Face is who Batman could have been and perhaps at times, want to be, with the only thin dividing line being "Justice" (as opposed to "Revenge") - Or is are they but opposite sides of the coin to each other? the moral qualm which most times puts forth the question: What if Batman just killed The Joker? Then all the years and endless storylines of crimes and murders could have been averted ...? Something which perhaps Dent has no issue with whatsoever, innit? - In his quest for revenge on the Joker for the obvious act of scarring his face (whether that remains to happen in this movie or the next remains to be seen, innit?). Which ironically makes has Dent sorting things out in black&white, while Batman dwells within the immense grey which engulfs the city of Gotham as well?
