tokyo tribe2: gang's history series one: kai vinyl figure
Truth be told, I've never been much into Santa Inoue's "Tokyo Tribe 2"-manga, altho I have partaketh profusely in the past of TT2-related toys - most notably Medicom Toy's 1/6th-scaled TT2 figures (1st gen), and the Michael Lau-designed KAI & MERA pair (in both regular & black colorways), and various other Kai-toy oddities (humble collection they may be) ... somehow the "look" of Kai - with his puffed-jacket, adidas and baseball bat, tho "simple" - was pretty cool, IMHO.
With the advent of Tokyo Tribe 3 being released, Santastic! adds a new toy (series) to their stable (with the Ganking-produced) TOKYO TRIBE2 - GANG'S HISTORY SERIES 1: KAI - featuring the DJ-protagonist in a decidedly "urban vinyl"-form!
Standing 20 cm tall (7.8 inches) the soft-vinyl Kai is slated for an October-release @ a SRP of 5,040YEN (US$48 / SGD$69) on Blister.jp [info+pics via]. Quantity is undetermined thus far tho ... I wonder if there be any plans to do Mera and the rest of the SARU gang/s? *sweet*
