sket-one's dolbee & "you asked for it" solo show @ atp festival, uk

Sket-One's DOLBEE spotted grabbing a cold one down at ATP Festival-London - for "Release The Bats 2008" [www / Oct 30-31st] - where Sket's "You Asked For It" UK-solo artshow is currently being held. The show will then proceed to Birmingham on Nov 1st [blogged].



The show features customed toys (a couple shown above-right: Ripple Big Boy / Ripple x 99 Companion), framed artwork and prints, and other assorted goodies (which can be seen on Sket's flickr / pics via) including the aforementioned Dolbee.

"Each ATP event, Clownshoes will release a vinyl toy to coincide with the festival. Measuring 5" the Dolbee platform is moulded as a cassette tape and will be boxed in an old school boom box. There will be 365 available for public sale - each one numbered with a day of the year. The toy will retail for £25 and be sold first exclusively at the festival. Any remaining for sale after the event will be sold through www.atpfestival.com, www.madtoydesign.com and a couple of select websites." [via]
