Kuso Designer Toys drops a sneak-preview of their upcoming 3rd project [previously featured Kuso-toys include Ninja Spiki and Celsius] - presenting Itokin Park's ITI-PINEHEAD!

Standing 5 inches tall, this adorable lil prickly fella (I'll like to think he's a baby-hedgehog *giggle*) with a uber-innocent smiley face framed by chunky body-spikes is tentatively set for a January 2009-release, with the Original colorway limited to only 150-pcs (which may well also mean more colorways, yeh? *sweet*). The above shows a proto-sculpt of the figure, while the image below is of the OG-colorway. Personally, I reckon it would be cool if there were tonal sprays on the spikes - ala Kaiju-coloring, as opposed to straight-up single color ... but that's just me :p

The Iti-Pinehead vinyl is the first of two figures Itokin will be co-producing with Kuso Designer Toys LLC. As we await further developments of Iti-Pinehead, CLICK THRU for illustration-vs-sculpt comparison pics :)

How adorable is this deceptively simple smiley-face? Given a sharper definition with Kuso's sculpt (shown above) - while the itty-bitty tail peeks out from behind the spiked-body

  1. The actual name is Iti Pinhead and you are correct it is a hedgehog. I was with Itokin the other night talking about the design and he mentioned it was specifically a hedgehog. He also mentioned that the graduated hand-paint jobs he's known to do would be a bit more rare on this model as the dry brushing required for each individual spike would be insanely labour intensive.

  2. cheers for the headsup, duder :)

a pity on the lack of dry brushing tho, as i reckon it wouldve made the figure pop out even more - but of coz i understand the restrictions :)
