What is utterly distressing is that I've a folder-filled with images from the upcoming JJ Abrams-directed STAR TREK Movie (culled from various online locales) but have not the time to decently format them to post. Nevertheless, here's a gander at the new trailer instead [found via Topless Robot] - or you can go direct to www.startrekmovie.com to see it in it's higher-res glory (am lurving the hover-bike duder in the opening scene - "1/6th-kitbash", anyone? heh) - including an updated fancy-flash website filled with the quasi-same images I'd wanted to post in the first place. heh.

STARTREK-HOVERBIKE-DUDE

I for one am quite looking forward to be seeing this incarnation, regardless of it being true to the lore or not (of coz being more of a Star Wars-fan might get me some flack here - no offense to the ST-hardliners :p). But the reality is, if tis the classics everyone is pining for, then perhaps the DVD-boxsets would be the way to go, IMHO. I for one am keen to see "re-invention", regardless of what the result is ("Phantom Menace" notwithstanding, of coz). heh.
