TERMINATOR-MEDICOM

Peep the 100% JOHN CONNER KUBRICK & T-600 BE@RBRICK by Medicom Toy ~ with a May 2009-drop date and a SRP of ¥3,129 per 2-pack (US$34 / SGD$50). I can totally see the Terminator BE@RBRICK in 400% - they could even try it in clear-plastic with mechanized-parts within. The John Connor KUBRICK is pretty sleek-hawt too, altho it would too be nice if he came together with a Kubrick-T-600 tho, IMHO.

These series of "DC Unlimited"-busts from DC Direct popped-up pre-X'mas and features what would be reveals of some of the characters from the movie ~ namely Blair Williams, Kyle Reese and Marcus Wright (who form the "human" contingent of the set). In addition, a T-600 is revealed while a T-RIP remains cloaked for the time being.

T4-BUSTS-2
PLOT-DESCRIPT: In the highly anticipated new installment of The Terminator film franchise, set in post-apocalyptic 2018, Christian Bale stars as John Connor, the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. But the future Connor was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington), a stranger whose last memory is of being on death row. Connor must decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an odyssey that takes them into the heart of Skynet's operations, where they uncover the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind.

And while there is currently no direct confirmation nor clear indication whatsoever of Hot Toys doing anything "T4"-related with Playmates Toys (who currently holds the toy license for Terminator: Salvation) nor does "1/6" or "12 inches" appear in their product line run-down (peep below news extract) - I can't help but wonder why T:S was mentioned and showcased in Hot Toys' December newletter, and can only hope there'll be 1/6th figures to come from HT.

"Playmates Toys will launch an edgy line of collectible action toys targeting kids and collectors ... the initial film window launch will include a full assortment of fully-articulated action figures (multiple scales) featuring new, never-seen-before Terminators; battle-ready replica vehicles; and signature role play items: the Terminator T-600 Voice ‘n' Vision Skull with authentic red light-up eyes, voice changer/sound effects and the Terminator Deluxe T-600 Fist that vibrates, fires and emits sounds. In the Fall, kids and collectors can build their world and collections out with the Skynet playset: assortments of six new figures in basic (3¾") and deluxe scales (6"); several new signature vehicles including remote control and skin peeling Terminators in super size (10"); and much more."
