So Patrick Chow (of G999 / creator of X'mas Ballmer) drops word of the upcoming Kennyswork-collabo MOLLY BALLMER with an ad-image featuring a silhouetted shape - that no doubt reminds me of Kenny Wong's custom-Ballmer ~ for which I remember TWO Ballmers were on display at the recent X'MAS BALLMER PARTY @ iXTEE [PEEP] - one weathered (above-left), and one pristine-clean (above-right) ... so would THAT be the sneak of the production-Molly Ballmer in question? (heehee)

It was December 22nd, 08. Renowned Hong Kong Ball Jointed Doll aka. BJD artist Patrick Chow planned to spend his christmas differently!
ReplyDeleteThe Xmas Ballmer Party @ IxTee was a colorful artistic blast! Patrick created and launched the original Xmas Ballmer in 2006, and now his friends were gathered to recreate their own versions of Ballmers, and all ladies gentlemen and dolls joined together for a heart warming x'mas!
Included in the lineup: Alan Ng, Alex Lau, Graphicairlines, Kenny Wong, Michael Kwong, Reni Wong, Steven Chui, Tikka Ng, William Tsang and Ultraman! All having laid their unique touch on to the Ballmer's breakthrough design.
The traditional Ball Jointed Doll took a whole human form; arms, legs and the body (with balls attached to all the joints) were all pulled together by hooks and strings.
Patrick Chow has hand crafted the Ballmer (name based on the German artist Hans Bellmer), and it was released in 2007 as a display of how this mechanism works, and also a show off of Patrick's craftsmanship! With only 3 balls, a hat, body and a boot, the Xmas Ballmer stand's for all of Patrick's vision and passion.
Now Kenny Wong , has taken his cross dressing painter Molly and merged it with the perfect design! A 2nd Ballmer launch is coming to town, Molly Ballmer is looking at a release during mid 2009! Toy lovers beware!
The Xmas Ballmer is in-stock going $50 USD and Molly Ballmer's up for pre-ordering for $62 USD. To do so, please email: info@g-999.com!
On behalf of G-999, cheers!
