WHAT: The creature shown here is named "Bloomtail", and is an "Imperial Newt" from Jim Woodring's capsule toy (equivalent to gashapon toys) with the art Capsule Toy Project (circa 2003). The two mini kumquats have since been devoured with relish and abandonment (and with a complete disregard to calories-counting during the festive new year season ... *burp*).

TOY-HISTORY: I'd gotten en entire set of Imperial Newts back in early-2004 from a shop in CTMA-Building, Hong Kong - when a whirlwind week-of-toy-shopping left me broke (but happy / Multiply). T'was my virgin-trip to HK, and still remains a "must-go" destination one fine day ... (*crosses-fingers-to-win-lottery*) ~ LOL
