Qee Anatomy Print and Toy by Jason Freeny x Toy2R

Below-left is a dazzling illustration by Jason Freeny of a Qee Anatomy - that is currently available as a Ultrachome Print on 100% Cotton Rag (13" x 16") - in a limited edition of 100 prints @ US$59 [Buy HERE] ... while below-right is a closer look at the Bear Qee - and I know what you're thinking: "Wouldn't it be great if they could make this into an actual toy?" = if that be so, then Toy2R may yet make your wishes come true!
QEE-ANATOMY

Qee4All blogs: "TOY2R will produce a 3D version of Jason's vision. With quality a number one concern of TOY2R, we are slating this release for 2010 so we can plan for every aspect of this figure's development. While we have considered releasing it as an 8" QEE, to capture the detail we are considering creating a larger scale to include all of the details ... ... the packaging is already being considered as well as the ability to take the bear apart, just like the anatomy kits we are all familiar with."

  1. That figure is going to rock

  2. This Toy2R toy is going to blow
    away the KAWS Bearbrick with
    the Dissected Companion print
    pattern. And hopefully Toy2R
treats us toy fans better than
    KAWS' Original Fake does. When
KAWS puts out a very small run
of a toy and releases it in only
one location when we all know
it's not that hard to do a little
more to meet the demand from fans,
then it appears to be a marketing
ploy to boost his image instead of
    satisfying his fans.

That's why I like to support
David and Sun-Min Kim of Uglydolls
    since they make their toys
easy to buy, and even though
    they're blindboxed I'm guaranteed
to get a whole set if I buy a
case. Now that's a couple of
designers I want to give my
    money to.

    I'm hoping Toy2R follows the
Uglydoll path so we can all
    have a realistic chance of
    owning such an awesome toy.
Kudos to Toy2R if they're able
to pull off making a toy that's
half as good as Jason Freeny's
    amazing art.
