About Thawed Out: Visions of the Future: "The town of Nederland, Colorado celebrates a festival every March in honor of Bredo Morstøl, a "resident" who has been (rather haphazardly) cryogenically preserved. Experts in the cryonics field say Grandpa Bredo, affectionately known as the "Frozen Dead Guy," could conceivably be revived as soon as next century. The focus of this group exhibit at NOWhere Limited Gallery in Nederland, Colorado is not the Frozen Dead Guy, but rather the future... What will the world be like when the technology exists to "wake up" Grandpa Bredo and other "frozen" folks? A Jetsons-esque Utopia? Taken over by aliens? Or something even weirder?"
