LASALLE Animation Art Show 2009 (May 21-June 7)

The above shows a selection of sculpts done for the "Animation Art" course [Media Arts] in LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore = featuring a variety of character-forms; created with the specific theme of "Designing A Vinyl Toy".

Lecturer Hillary Yeo explains: "These sculpts are done with super sculpy. They are made as part of a technical exercise which is to design and make a prototype for a vinyl toy. They are supposed to be used for reference as well when they model it in 3D, in the computer. And (have them animated)."

Currently, the sculpts will be on display on the ground floor of the college - from 21st May to June 7th (11am-8pm daily). Drop by, take some snaps, and I might even meet bump into you folks there! ;p
