MyTummyToys @ Bandung Toysfair 2009 (Indonesia)
Indonesian-toymakers MyTummyToys participated in the Bandung Toysfair 2009 the weekend prior, and Marine sends over some snaps of their table at the event, which also saw a host of local customizers working "live" on Trexi-customs. CLICK THRU for peeps :)
FYI: MyTummyToys will be rocking a booth for the coming Singapore Toy, Games and Comic Con (STGCC) in August, along with their working slate of products, as well as toy-customizing events - *Stay tuned to TRE for updates*
Marine-says: "Its was great moment ... not just selling and selling toys, but we had also invited 14 customizers from Bandung to customize Trexi. We also distributed Play Imaginative products as well ... then I was thinking: "why not we introducing Jouwe"? ... mmmhh but I think I'm too scared about piracy issues, man! LOL
Because it always happens to My Clothing Company, but we try to introduce art toys / urban toys or what ever we all mention, through some creative things like customizing, not just for sales ... but before I make Jouwe into a vinyl, I'll just let him fly overseas, maybe not in Indonesia first LOL - because Indonesian people are still more into vinyl vinyl vinyl and vinyl ... not to more know what is sculpt, and designer toys."
