Registration for STGCC Conference Session is Now Open

Registration is now open for the Singapore Toy, Games and Comic Convention Conference Sessions - Download the information brochure and Registration Form here.

Registration deadline is July 31st 2009, with a Registration Fee if SGD$200-per person (SGD$180 per person with a group of 5 or more pax). Student Fee is halved at SGD$100-per! (Man, I wish I was a student again ....). Conference Venue will be Meeting Hall 325 at Suntec City.

PRESS: Scheduled for Friday, 14 August 2009, the first-of-its-kind STGCC Conference Sessions have been designed to stir you, enlighten you and inspire you. Featuring key players from the global creative industries, the sessions will cover topics ranging from making it big in the designer toy industry, to graphic novels, film-making and digital artistry. All attendees will receive a special goodie bag with gifts sponsored by our valued speakers!

Conference Speakers include filmmaker Eric Khoo, artist Stanley "Artgerm" Lau (of Imaginary Friends Studio), Nichole "The Baroness" East (Marketing Manager for Kidrobot) and Dennis Fong (Concept Manager for LEGO Concept Lab) along with Haruka Ikuyo and Junya Suzuki.

3 new names have been added to that list [since my last post], featuring; Feng Zhu (founder of FZD School of Design), Johnny Mak (Head of Technical Operations - Imagi Studios) and Tracy Wong (Director, Creative Services - Animax Asia).

I'm quite keen to see if scenes from Imagi Studios' Astro Boy animated movie will be screened tho!
