Hot Toys for San Diego Comic Con 2009 (@Sideshow Collectibles Booth 1929)
Hong Kong's Hot Toys launches their new revamped website @ www.hottoys.com.hk - which now features their very own official blog (the new trend for toy-makers, if you noticed), news and media sections. The "Mars-Attack!" cryptic imagery posted leaves too many open questions and speculation (even tho it was utilized as a "gimmick" for revamping the site after an "alien invasion"....) ... But a Mars Alien would be sweet, IMHO :)
Nevertheless, the more "exciting" news announcement - would be of Hot Toys' participation in upcoming toy shows, like Tokyo Toy Fair (Japan) and Ani-com (Hong Kong) and specifically San Diego Comic Con next week. Here are some teaser-images of what will be exclusively previewed at the Sideshow Collectibles Booth #1929:
Latest collectibles from Pixar's UP, The Matrix (?!?!), Alien (30th Anniversary) and Michael Jackson Thriller [previewed here!]. No doubt there would also be the Grey Iron Man Mark 3 ... and will the new DX BATMAN make a "guest appearance" as well? heh.

ReplyDeleteHot Toys is getting even hotter!! DX Batman, pleeease be there! I wonder if Sideshow Coll. are the distributors for Hot Toys? Not sure where to go to when Hot Toys releases their awsome figs!!

ReplyDelete@BRiZL > i reckon Sideshow is a distributor for Hot Toys, but not necessarily for the Batman license. The previous Dark Knight-figures (ie Joker Two-Face etc) were distributed via DC Direct (which makes sense somehow ;p).
