Reveal of My Friend David kaiju by UglyDolls x In The Yellow

After the earlier tease yesterday - UglyDoll's new kaiju project dubbed MY FRIEND DAVE is now fully revealed! Produced by INTHEYELLOW featuring sculpting by T9G - My Friend Dave is made in Japan - with the first release scheduled on September 18th to coincide with the DEHARA and DAVID HAVE MONO show with Sun-Min x David + DEHARA at STITCH in Tokyo (with the "main" release @ Giant Robot Biennale at the Japanese American National Museum October 24th 2009). David Horvath-blogged: "The purpose of this figure is collaboration. Instead of a focus on colorways, many MY FRIEND DAVE figures will be hand painted by Sun-Min and David, and the rest will be customs by Sun-Min and David`s favorite artists from around the world ... ... The name will change each time...so the DEHARA version will be MY FRIEND DEHARA, etc."


David-adds: "Yes, the little bumps in the front symbolize what we show / do VS the big spikes in the back which is what we hide / are truly capable of. I say put your big spikes forward! Huge thanks to T9G and INTHEYELLOW for bringing him to life."
