Luke Chueh's Inferno @ Gallery 1988, LA (Sept 9-Oct 4)

Next Wednesday September 9th - Gallery 1988 will be hosting the opening reception of Luke Chueh's next solo show, INFERNO.

Inspired by Dante Alighieri's "The Inferno", the show explores the nine rings of hell Alighieri creates in this masterpiece. Luke-mentions: "Considering the theme and concept behind the show, Inferno is easily my most complicated and ambitious work to date. I've purposfully kept the work under wraps in the hopes people will be surprised by the final product.
I trully believe these paintings show a growth and evoltion in my artwork, and I hope you will feel the same."

INFERNO opens next Wednesday, 9/9/9, at Gallery 1988 Los Angeles. The reception runs from 7:00-10:00 (Show exhibits thru October 4th). Also that evening, Gallery 1988 will be releasing giclèe prints of the Southpaw Series (previewed here). Around the same time, Corey Helford Gallery are producing a limited edition giclèe print of Luke's remix of Francisco Goya's "Saturn Devours His Son".
