Cyber-Cooking Obsession: Café World
Truth be told, I'm never one for online games (much less game-apps on Facebook) but this has become a (near) full-blown new obsession! My third day playing Facebook's CAFE WORLD has left me twitching to cyber-cook and renovate my new cafe. While it has not totally over-taken my subconscious (*ahem*) ~ I have listed out a few key attributes (based on personal "experience") indicating if indeed you are on the path to being too obsessed...
- When you wake up early in the morning because you need to tend to your Pumpkin Pie and serve it before it rots on the cooking stove. Then you go back to bed to finish your sleep.
- When conversations with friends about the retail business (in general) inevitably reminds you about the game (how demand of diners outstrips your ability to produce more food etc).
- When you start trying to plan more "well-rounded" meals for your diners ~ featuring Appetizers, Mains and Desserts (ie; Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail, Bacon Cheeseburger and Caramel Apples).
- When cyber-cooking your French Onion Soup, you really really hanker for a real bowl of French Onion Soup (hold the croutons).
- You get stressed when there's no food to be served (still cooking) and diners pack the cafe, and decide to leave all at once because there's no food to be served.
- When you start to question your color and material coordination for the wall, floors and furniture, and wish you could add in patterns yourself (and of course wanting that full-height window so bad).
Yep, this is just the result of a three-day-immersion ~ Can't imagine how deep I can
