Studio Ghibli Film Festival @ The Picturehouse, Singapore (Dec 17-23)
The Studio Ghibli Film Festival begins December 17th til 23rd @ The Picturehouse, Singapore ~ and features daily screenings of classic animation movies from the beloved studio and revered Hayao Miyazaki! Tickets are priced at SGD$10 per and you can check out the movie-synopsis for each flick via www.thepicturehouse.com.sg (although I am not too sure if they will be in original Japanese with subs, or English-dubs).
- Thurs 17 Dec @7.15pm = Ponyo On The Cliff By The Sea (101 mins)
- Fri 18 Dec @7.15pm = Laputa Castle In The Sky (124 mins)
- Sat 19 Dec @5.30pm = Tombstone for Fireflies (93 mins)
- Sun 20 Dec @5.30pm = Nausicaa of the Valley** (116 mins)
- Mon 21 Dec @7.15pm = Only Yesterday (119 mins)
- Tues 22 Dec @7.15pm = Kiki's Delivery (103 mins)
- Wed 23 Dec @7.15pm = My Neighbour Totoro** (84 mins)
**Am quite keen to catch Totoro & Nausicaa, even though I have them on DVD, but would love to experience them on the big-screen! And "Only Yesterday" as well (I'm a sap lah) ... hell, if I could afford to, I'd watch every one of them! Missing from the line-up is Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle and Princess Mononoke ~ but tis cool, as I have them on DVD ~ LOL
