WHO-IS YUKI MORI aka NOVA?: "Initially Dr. Sado's nurse, Yuki gained the additional responsibilities aboard Yamato of operating the radar, performing computer calculations, taking care of the crew's morale and searching planets for food sources. "Yuki Mori" will be played by actress Meisa Kuroki in the upcoming live-action "Space Battleship Yamato" feature film [blogged with Teaser Trailer] and is the genesis of this post actually. And no, that is not her in the promo video above [CLICK THRU for another!] but nevertheless good for "visual reference" if indeed they decide to go spandex for the feature film ... *cough*
