Submissions for OTACOOL2: World Wide Cosplay Now Open!
Submissions are NOW OPEN for folks keen on submitting cosplay-images or mascot-designs for Kotobukiya's upcoming OTACOOL2: World Wide Cosplay book! I have listed below summarized bullet-point essentials, for your quick-reference.
HOW-TO-SUBMIT (COSPLAY):
- Go to figure.fm and signup for an account.
- Submit entries using the uploader (found on figure.fm)
IMPORTANT-DOS:
- TAG all your entries "otacool, otacool2, otacoolcosplay"
(copy n paste everything between the quotes)
Submissions/Photos Not tagged? = Photos Not saved!
- Add tags during uploading and not after.
- Only tagged photos will be looked at.
- High-Res Photos are to be uploaded
(necessary for printing / less than 3MB each)
Dannychoo.com mentions: "There are 24 empty slots on the cover for your face! The quicker you submit your photos, the higher the chance of you being on the cover because we need the final cover for marketing purposes."
FYI: The release date of the book is in late March or April, so that'll mean a tidy few months of pre-exposure! Also do remember not to add any watermarks to the photos.
