It's a Munny ripoff!!
ReplyDeleteAnonymous: be that as it may, maybe you'd like to share with us what unique toys you have been making all this while?
ReplyDeletecheers
so that's the bar? that you simply make "toys"? shouldn't they CONTRIBUTE something to the community vs. ripping off existing designs?
ReplyDeleteAnonymous: anyone would be in a position to contribute to any community and toy-culture, given the opportunity, the constructive feedback and perhaps even encouragement.
ReplyDeletethe level and value of whatever contribution, is in the eye of the beholder vs the creator of the object, and no doubt to anyone / everyone else who has an opinion in these things ~ which is all fine and good, as it should be.
if simply stating it's a ripoff on your part ("Anonymously", no less) is meant to contribute to the community, then perhaps we have all set our "bar" below what everyone is capable of.
cheers.
On my opinion "Anonymous" did not even see Munny. I would like to know which one details in this toy torn off Munny!!?
ReplyDeleteChillax, Solya and Asha ~ maybe you could share with us on the process of how you make your figures, especially in Ukraine. How is the art toy scene where you're at?
ReplyDeletecheers
OK!
ReplyDeleteWe will prepare material and necessarily will write you.
I'm wiling to say that these are a complete rip off of a munny.
ReplyDeleteAnd post my name.

Just because someone makes a limited run of something, and charges $50 a pop, doesn't mean they are contributing something creative.
I'm all for welcoming new artist, but if they are clearly stealing pieces of other toys in this industry(and making it look worse at that), they need to be called out. And $50? Is this your first venture in figure making?
Perhaps you should start lower and build a fan base.
Either way, next time your making an "original" figure, leave the KR stuff in the box.
