Custom-Showcase: "AQUA" Custom Series by Keithing

I am constantly fascinated with what goes on in an artist's mind when he/she works on customizing toys. What goes into the thought process, and does it subconsciously reflect unto the final custom piece? Was Keithing aka Keith Poon feeling down and blue when he customized this new series of "AQUA"-themed figures? Or more likely he is exploring a new signature style, and I'm rambling like a loonie online again, innit? Heh.

  1. I've seen these all over today and I'm having mixed feelings. The paint scheme is nice, I've always been a fan of the metallic silver and blue combo. The choice of platforms is great too. But what's with the random chunks missing? I'm I missing something here? Also the silver looks smudged, almost like finger prints. Was that the intention? I like the overall style, but I feel these are rushed and missing something.
