General Zoo: Fools Machine by Double Line x G999 (July 15-drop)

FOOLS-MACHINE

Nearly popped a vein when this image popped up in my inbox, of Double Line's upcoming new General Zoo figure, with this incarnation decked out in pseudo War-Machine regalia on one half, while the other glimmers in solemn blue. Codename: "FOOLS MACHINE" is limited to 99 pcs with a July 15th release (no doubt for pre-orders) possibly via DoubleFools. Price in undetermined.

Designed by Alan Ng and produced by G999, I wonder if this edition also features the split-body function (with magnets holding them back in place / video demo). Regardless, this is one edition of General Zoo I really want to have. (Heck I also want the earlier Dracula-armor edition, but both no doubt remain pipe-dreams). CLICK THRU for some literature to perhaps assist you in understanding the world of [=27:fool’s].

ZOO is a mental patient who believes he is a superhero
He uses his superhero appearance to hide his fragile persona.
Zoo's split personality makes him lives in his imagined hero world,
bearing the responsibility of keeping world peace by saving the world.

Character design in 27:fools series is different from handmade 12 series.
handmade 12 series is more grounded in reality and the mental patients
have realistic appearance.

Characters in the 27:fools series are based on images they created from
their split personalities, and hope people can connect to their real persona
through their imagined world.
