STRANGECo for San Diego Comic Con 2010 (Booth 4629)
For the coming San Diego Comic Con 2010 [tagged] STRANGECo has lined-up Mark Nagata (Max Toy Company) and Matt Walker to headup their kaiju-kustom extravaganza, while Shepard Fairey's MR SPRAY Silver Edition represents the urban corner of the culture. STRANGECo will be hosting MAX TOY COMPANY with artist Mark Nagata showcasing 30 custom toys featuring his cast of characters: Mini Kaiju, giant Eyezons, new sculpts and more. All customs will be available for purchase (from 11 am to 2 pm only).
Mark will be joined by Matt Walker, aka DEAD PRESIDENTS DESIGNS, who will have his own sets of customs, inluding several GIANT EYEZON FIBERGLASS figures. Matt will also be doing a very cool toy pin stiping demonstration at the booth, scheduled from 11 am to 2 pm.
Previously featured here, Shepard Fairey's MR SPRAY in SILVER will be officially released from 11:30am. Priced at US$95 (CASH only) the silver edition is limited to 100 pcs, with 48 made available for the show.
Here is how the selling will be conducted:
- STRANGECo will be passing out 58 numbered and sequential tickets beginning at 9:45 am on Friday morning; 48 guaranteed buyers and 10 waiting list ticketholders.
- Return at 11:30 am to buy your Mr. Spray! Once the line is through, if there are any unsold or not collected, STRANGECo will offer them in sequential order to the wait-listed ticket holders.
- One per customer, per family, etc. STRANGECo reserves the right to call it as they see it when they pass these tickets out. Your cooperation and understanding is appreciated.
- The remaining Mr. SPRAY in SILVER will go on sale through Strangeco's online retail shop; this availability is still TBA.
