Seen @ Wonder Festival (Winter) 2011
The Wonder Festival event happens twice a year, and is known specifically for figures and garage kits, as well as encompassing other genres thru the years. This year's Winter 2011 event saw a single day of toy geekery happening in Chiba on a Sunday. - Here is an exquisite look at other fab toy-imagery from the lens of Scott Dias aka "Stealthtank" of Bullshark Toy Design. As a testament to my sheer lack of knowledge in japanese toys, I could only recognize for sure images of Stan's KONDO [blogged] and bagged Callgrim figures, as well goodies from Fig-Lab. And do I see a Suckpax2 somewhere on the table too? Good times :)
- Andy of KaijuKorner has one of the best coverage of kaiju-themed goodness on his blog (over 300 snaps!). His Medicom Toy coverage is reposted here, as well as the How2Work bench (what's that with the montaged-Storm Trooper?). And the cuddly Godzilla is simply destructively-adorable lol
- One word for this: SEXY be this coverage - So Be Warned! ~ But otherwise one of the swellest collection of anime-lurving thus far (sans image description but nevertheless eye-candy galore).
- AkibaHobby.net has some swell anime figure and garage kits coverage. The introduction of the WHITE ROCK SHOOTER is pretty delightful too! Apparently to be bundled with the upcoming Black Rock Shooter The Game Limited SP-Box. I'm also somewhat fascinated with "Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt" figurines too… What a name!
