SXSW Poster Art & Mekkabanana Scuplt from Frank Kozik
Frank Kozik offers up duo-helpings of his work, each decidedly different from one another, as well in separate genres of pop culture.
The above-left is a swell poster art done for the SXSW 25th Anniversary, and is limited to 300 - 8 silkscreened pieces sized 18" x 24". Kozik mentions on his Facebook he will have 100 pcs for sale starting March 10th (looking real swell from where I'm at) with no price mentioned, nor drop locale.
And on the right, is the "scaled-up" sculpt of the "Mekkabanana", tentatively scheduled for around an SDCC release period. This vinyl piece will stand 16" and come in various colorways, like all his Ultraviolence-produced large vinyl releases, like Dead Che and Lugdwig Van. And if this looks familiar, tis because he had earlier released this fruit-sculpt in Bronze, known then as "MechaNana".
