World Of Toys on TOYSREVIL (Mar/4/2011)
PRODUCT PRESS: "Based on a set of life-sized statues that were shown at the coarse solo exhibition in Chicago in 2010, coarse now introduces their latest "oop" series. This first vinyl toy release in 8 months is a milestone — the start of the very first 7 inch series by coarse. This version goes back to the beginning of life, showcasing signature coarse characters in embryo form, a chance to experience them at their purest."
"oop loser — hkg brood" by coarse is limited to only 200 pcs with a price tag of HK$ 1280 per (includes global airmail shipping). The set includes a birth certificate. Available exclusively at the coarse online store, sale begins March 8th, 2011.
Also available at coarse retailers in Summer, is the "oop loser — signature brood" ~ priced at HK$ 998 [US$ 136 — MSRP]. Quite excited to see brand new figure releases from coarse-artists Mark Landwehr and Sven Wasch, IMHO. Or perhaps the fond memory of their Pain gift lingers still amidst all the multiple colorway releases of their Noops, JAWS, PAW et al... And anyone who releases fetal-inspired toys has my vote! LOL
First I posted about the print now comes news of the upcoming release of a new Series 4 BLANK truck, which you can score here for US$18 for a 8.5" box style delivery truck. The blank walls were perfect for scribbling on or mad bombing with stickers, or if you are handy with markers, a canvas for your tag.

Remember Cris Rose's upcoming Rotund Mk2 release? [Teased and Previewed] Well, here's a peep at the Clear Head version! Swishness!
Ben Spencer readies to release his third colorway edition of his GALAXXOR from March 4th online via http://galaxxor.bigcartel.com ~ priced at US$90 per for a 5.5" figurine made in resin. Thursday, March 3rd 2011 @ Noon PST will see the release of the LA BREA Edition of Joe Ledbetter's PICO & WILSHIRE on theloyalsubjects.com. Priced at US$175 per set, this is the third colorway to be released, after the first colorway, and the 2nd Lava Edition released at DesignerCon. Limited to 99 pcs, Pico stands 6" while Wilshire the wooly mammoth stands 12" tall.
I am sure the figure is fine and all (I wouldn't really know I've not seen it in person), but a green colored sabretooth only can exist in pop culture. The mammoth on the other hand, look so adorable "lost", you'd want to scoop him out of the tar-pits and quick!
"Unofficial" Droplets video by UpUp featuring Jam Factory's vinyl toy series "Droplet" as produced by Crazy Label. This is truly epic looking, and a welcome respite as we do not really see swell toy videos these days unfortunately.
[Andy Woo tweetered, I blogged]
Pretty exciting images of Patricio Oliver's Paladins / Beast Riders spotted on The Tenebrae's Facebook (featuring equally awesome snaps from Tomenosuke). Produced by RAJE Toys, the 7.5 inch vinyl and resin behemoth has hit the market. Congrats again to PO! and I am liking the clear blue-tinted arms on the Ice Beast, IMHO. As well the previously seen gold-arms on the red beast now is red instead, which is a cool development, methinks.
So are "Paladins" "Beast Riders" above the Beast?
