Custom-Feature: Pinocchio w/ Jiminy Cricket by DrilOne

We've previously posted DrilOne's custom Deutsche Pinocchio w/ Jiminy Cricket - produced by Medicom Toy and re-designed by KAWS, and yes, raved about it (the custom, and of course the original toy-form, having seen it up close ;p). Now we have the full-info to go along with the images! And what an awesome custom-work it is from the rust-master himself - Alex Drils. ABOUT: This is a Original Fake Kaws Pinocchio & Jiminy Cricket vinyl toy released on August 28th 2010. Pinocchio stands about 10" & Jiminy Cricket stands about 3" tall. This was customized by DrilOne as a commission piece. DrilOne used wood, brass, rope, spraypaint, acrylic, and other materials to customize Pinocchio. This is a 1/1 and no other will be produced. The client gave DrilOne free reign to create what he saw from the toy.

STORY: This is a set created in 1939 in Nuremberg, Germany. Die Bohrmaschine was the manufacturer of the German Pinocchio (Deutsche Pinocchio) toy. The history behind why he is painted in military style is unknown. The Deutsche Pinocchio was found in a abandoned barn in Osh Kosh, Nebraska. How it got there is still a mystery.
