Scion Installation LA Gallery Presents 11:11 (April 9-30)
EVENT-PRESS: "11:11" is a mind bending group show of fine art prints curated by Justin Hampton. Numerologists believe that events linked to the time 11:11 appear more often than can be explained by chance or coincidence. This belief is related to the concept of synchronicity. Many believe it is an auspicious sign, and others that it signals a spirit presence. 11:11 presents a group of 11 contemporary artists in 2011 that each create compelling works that have come together serendipitously.
The featured artists for the show are: GL Barr, Gary Baseman, Casey Burns, Brian Despain, Shepard Fairey, Justin Hampton, Frank Kozik, Tara Mcpherson, Scott Musgrove, Jermaine Rogers & Jeff Soto. The opening reception takes place on April 9th, 7 – 10 p.m. at Scion Installation L.A., 3521 Helms Ave. (at National), Culver City, CA 90232. The reception is free with complimentary valet parking and an open bar. Exhibition is free and open to the public.
Artists will be in attendance. The exhibition will run until April 30th. Looking exceptional online, no doubt will look even more impressive in-person, IMHO.
