BACKSTORY: Kanicee lives on a very remote island, so remote it doesn't even have a name. He lives with the Margarmoo tribe, who are incredibly happy all the time.... mainly due to their diet of berries and mushrooms. 
Yet as even the Margarmoo know sadness has its place... and so when they need to feel a bit glum they have a ceremony with the mask of sadness, and very briefly the sadness is spread though the village ..... and then they have a huge party to cheer themselves up again... like you do :)
