Who You Gonna Call? More On Ghost Sprogs by Cris Rose

We first raved about a sneak peek of Cris Rose' GHOST SPROGS here. And while I have long admired the clarity and crispness of Cris' resin works before (ever notice his much earlier Runcible releases?), I had not really expected these to become a production reality, other than "tests" … but I have been proven time and again to be wrong un my assumptions, but you know what? Tis about the cool toys to be had! And where you need to cybernectically be, is on Cris' twitter @crisr or his online shop. Read the below write-up, and you will understand WHY.

WHO YOU GONNA CALL?
"Reports have come in of ghosts of certain robots appearing in the factories and showrooms. Our head technician's official report states these hollow apparitions are nothing more than data echos in the holographic systems that are used to design and specify the bots in the first place. While he's entirely unable to determine where these signals are coming from or how they're overriding the holoemitters, we'd just like to let you know that they're nothing to worry about as the occurrences are highly unlikely, very rare indeed...."

Made entirely of clear resin, this is not an Edition, nor are they high volume, numbered or centered around any specific bots. They are, however, tough to make and something i can only offer very sparingly. Therefore, to be fair to everyone, Ghosts will appear on my store, at random, entirely unannounced, as regularly as i'm able to make them. I have no idea how many there will be, how many of each design or how often they will show up, but the trickiness involved in their production will be reflected in their price. If you happen to be on my store and you spy a Ghost, don't wait too long, as he'll be gone as soon as he's bought. One final point i'd like to make is that due to the casting process and materials, the piece, should you get one, should be handled minimally and gently as the surface is not as resilient and can mark - the resin is also very brittle and can shatter entirely if dropped, so should be treated as glass. A shattered ghost cannot be repaired, so if these aspects are an issue for you, please don't purchase, i cannot stress this enough.

Ghosts come and go without warning, without reason and without pattern, don't try and preempt one appearing, you'll probably be wrong... happy hunting ghostbusters.
