The Coming of Grimsheep Toys from Happy Panda Toys x Grimsheep

Rich Moskal of Happy Panda Toys (makers of Yosiell Lorenzo's Sweet Poison) is a series of vinyl figures dubbed "GRIMSHEEP" from designer Owen DeWitt aka Grimsheep! With a tentative Fall-2011 drop schedule, the figures shown here seem to be able to inhabit alternative heads and bodies - and that's one cool way for playability, IMHO. While nothing much is mentioned about the figures, I tracked down Owen to find out more about the series.

"When Happy Panda Toys started up, part of their plan was to produce original vinyl toys by a number of artists who had not had the opportunity to do so. Happily, I was one of of that first group of artists they asked. I sent them a few sketches and they liked the idea of doing the sheep; it seemed fitting to do my namesake as my first toy. Once we got going we thought it would be fun to do a few other head sculpts." ~Owen DeWitt
