Event Images for Date To Be Stupid by Jesse DeStasio @ Aubergine Cafe, NY

Jesse DeStasio's DARE TO BE STUPID opened for a one-night only show on June 9th, and we've some select snaps here of the event, which featured canvas paints, a sketches-filled wall, and of course resin cast toys from Jesse. Although the opening show was one night only, the paintings will stay up for a few weeks @ Aubergine Cafe in New York.

"The show was a great experience. It really ended up being the most aesthetically pleasing exhibit I've done so far. The venue was gorgeous and the vague ideas I had about installations and lighting were brought to life by a crack team of volunteers. The pictures don't really do it justice but it was a beautiful atmosphere. It was arguably the most attractive looking crowd I've had turn out." ~says Jesse DeStasio
