Toy-Review: GD-927 by Andrew Bell from Android 2 Mini Collectible by DYZ Plastic
TOY-STORY: As previously blogged, the Android Mini Collectibles Series 2 is the second series release featuring the Google Android mascot as a 3-inch tall toy as produced and released by DYZ Plastic. Each display case consists of 16 x blind boxed containing a randomly placed toy within, with GD-927 part of the basic assortment, with a ratio of 1/16 - which essentially mean you might get one figure in a boxed-selection of 16 figures.

Designed by U.S.A.-based artist Andrew Bell [Dead Zebra Inc] - who has designed a total of 4 x Androids for Series 2.
GD-927 is one of the best designed-Androids on this series, IMHO. The figure features a a tonal color graduation specific only to this Android. The tri-eye design heightens the "robot" concept along with the lines and decals on the figure's surface. The white-shadowlines are exceptionally crisp, I must say. The red at the tips of the antennas are especially a nice touch, with a slight make-believe the android-Android is "alive" and working.
I have basically nothing bad to mention about this Android! LOVE IT!
If you've not noticed by now, there is a imbedded grove around the two "eyes" of the Android (both from and back). The third "eye" of this figure is printed on, and not embedded.
