NATUPLAZA by DGPH @ Tecnopolis
PRESS: Natuplaza is a kids park placed at Tecnopolis 2011, a technology and science fair launched at the end of July and developed by the Argentinian Goverment, that includes perfomances from different artists and design studios.Natuplaza is a park created by DGPH, based on nature elements: Wind, Fire, Water and Earth.
'The idea of the park was to build a fun place for kids, where they could hang out and enjoy some free time, wondering around this amazing giant creatures, as it was never seen in Buenos Aires before. 3 guardians keep the place, each one representing fire, water and wind: 6 giant fiber glass figures with proximity sensors and leds that react to the crowd in place.'

'In the middle of this fantasy land, a giant 8 meters totem involving different animals, invites eveyone to come around and have fun with leds animations. There s a castle with slides and giant worm tunel installation that represents the earth, plus a lighting trees forest, a rest area under some giant mushrooms and a pack of wooden animals games.'[Additional images via]
