Spotted at DKE Toys' SDCC-booth display are these line of retrolicious rocketships from Cool Rockets. This is the press-line from their website at www.coolrockets.com:
'Cool Rockets is a line of resin-cast, hand-finished rocket ships, all inspired by the styles of the 40’s and 50’s rockets from comics, TV, and toys. Created by Jeff Brewer, a film and special-effects modelmaker in northern California, Cool Rockets offer a unique collection that is handmade, unique, and more affordable than you’d think. All the designs are original inspirations of an era, not copies of some vehicle you’ve seen in a movie or TV show.'

Personal tastes withstanding, this is without a doubt one of the coolest series I've seen for SDCC thus far - got to love them rocket ships, which really reminds me of the spirit of tin toys from China I used to lord after many years ago! (My brother bought them, while I was more concerned with Playmobil and action figures lol)
