SDCC Exclusive SOLEM by Joey Potts for San Diego Comic Con 2011
Witness the visage that is named "SOLEM" (which stands for "Single Optic Lake Effect Monster"), designed by Chicago-based artist Joey Potts and sculpted by Chris Ryniak - this is the third figure release from Rotofugi's Lake Monsters series (after Snybora and Muscamoot), for next week's San Diego Comic Con (www). Standing 5.75 inches tall and priced at US$60 per, this edition is nicknamed "Green Apple" and is painted by Joe Somers (of Squibbles Ink) and Kirby Kerr (of Rotofugi). Look for it at booth #4763. Quantities undetermined.
'Is it a cat? A dog? An aquatic ape? And what's with the weird genetic mutation that's left his one eye firmly planted in his mouth? Or is he dining on eyeballs?
