The Batwing / Batplane Filmed on The Streets of Pittisburgh for 'The Dark Knight Rises' & My Speculation About The Morphing Batplane From A Tumbler

We've seen the stills, now here are the video-clips of the possible "Batwing" (which somehow movie-blogs have since not to call "Batwing" anymore ;p) filmed on the road of Pittsburgh, for the filming of "The Dark Knight Rises"! The vehicle looks to be "hovering" the streets more than "zipping" thru them (okay, fine, "fast-hovering" lol), so that's a welcomed positive- well, at least in my assessment :)

And mind you, this was filmed in broad-daylight, so this would be a pretty exciting story in the movie to be told - and I really wouldn't be surprised this contraption was morphed from a Tumbler (looking at the armored back-chasis). Fun to speculate about stuff you know zero-clue about but love the genre! LOL

MY BATWING / BATPLANE SPECULATION:

Why the possibility of the "Batwing" (although never actually admitted in public to be called, by the filmmakers) is actually morphed out from a Tumbler aka Batmobile, is simply because it makes more sense with the mobility of Batman in urban landscapes, and that the flying-vehicle does not seem to be able to contain large amounts of fuel (like an actual airplane does) due to it's size and having it a short-distance machine for chasing down criminals, is a logical application, rather than an actual plane flying from out of the Batcave/Wayne Manor, and zipping past a vast geographic distance before it sees the cityscape, IMHO.

That and the Batpod popping out of the Tumbler in "The Dark Knight", makes sense the conceptual or operational language remains similar. Plus, the initial Tumbler was blown-up via Self-Destruct remember? So Bruce has more reason to "upgrade" the Tumbler into an "all-purpose" crime-fighting machine, innit? What do YOU think?
