Custom Toy Workshop with Artists Huck Gee & Carlos East @ Hope Gallery (Aug 28)
The "Custom Toy Workshop with Artists Huck Gee & Carlos East" (of The Beast Brothers) sees both artists workshop on how to make custom toys, and will include an 8” Munny to be customized and brought home by participants. Happening August 28th (from 1pm) at Hope Gallery, the workshop will be hosted by Nichole “Baroness” East, with 'some of the topics that will be discussed will be History of Custom Toys, Character Design, Material Application, Priming and Finishing Techniques, Application Demonstrations, and of course presentations by both artists followed by a Q&A session.'
Priced at US$100 per person, you can purchase/register online here. Price includes materials and stationary used for customization (Paint, Pens, Fabric, Flock, etc). At the end of the workshop one very special participate will win a custom by The Beast Brothers.
