"Taking About Gods" is a documentary about comicbook writer Grant Morrison, produced by Sequart and Respect! Films. "This documentary is the first in depth look at his life and work in film, and features unrestricted access to the man himself." Directed by Patrick Meaney, the film features loads of interviews with fellow creators and Grant himself, and from the trailers collected and posted below, features a lot of "taking heads".

Funnily enough, Camilla D'Errico illustrates the alternative cover to the DVD (original image seen above) featuring Morrison's head bursting forth with comicbook characters he has written. The DVD saw an appearance at the recent SDCC and is now available to purchase here (for US$15 per / sans shipping). I've always been a huge fan of Morrison, with his run on Vertigo's Doom Patrol having a more profound effect on my psyche more than any other books actually. Years later, his All-Star Superman would delight me to no end, with that particular issue where Pa Kent died (mentioned in the trailer/s above) being one of the more poignant pieces of comicbook story-telling I've ever read. Must try to got a copy of this somehow … but with Singapore's strict censorship laws, it will be an issue just trying to order this straightup…
