Mickey Mouse Custom Showcase - Seen @ STGCC 2011
We've previously posted display-showcase snaps of the Mickey Mouse Vinyl Custom Showcase at Play Imaginative's booth for Singapore Toy, Games & Comic Convention 2011 [www / Tagged] - today, we have a closer look at the individual custom works on the 6.5" tall DIY-blank vinyl figurine, which was also available at the event.
Representing the most succinct spirit of the modern art toy culture, we were presented with customs from an international list of contributors, which included Hong Kong based designers Danny Chan, Ultraman Fong, Winson Ma, Kenny Wong, Indonesia artists such as Breeanzz and Thunderpanda, folks such as Sergio Mancini, Igor Ventura, Beast Brothers, DEVILROBOTS, and local practitioners including Caramelaw, Daniel Yu, Wanton Doodle and Leoni Saison. There is much more to the list, but I'll let the works speak for themselves:
