Poddyville Mini Figures from Doktor A

Out of Doktor A's current Studio Sale on his online store are prototypes of Poddyville mini figures! Handmade and created in 2005 featuring sculptwork by George Gaspar (of October Toys) - there were 4 designs made based on four basic designs of Dok's characters, including a 5th "Blank" version.


Standing 3" tall with base (figure is 2" tall), utilizing Polyurethane resin - 50 numbered sets were created. All cast, cleaned, painted and packaged by Doktor A. Available currently for his studio sale is one of the Blanks, and a set of the original tooling master sculpts - aka polished resin pieces pulled from molds of the original wax models. And there's a nice slice of toy-education for me with this find!
