The Walking Dead @ STGCC 2011
As mentioned before, the exhibitors at next week's Singapore Toy Games & Comic Convention [www / TAGGED] sees a listing for "The Walking Dead" - and it has been revealed to be the actual television series - which was adapted from a graphic novel - debuting in Asia. And while the series in now unto it's second season, and has aired on FX Channel on cable, the free-to-air channels have yet to showcase this, I think.
What will be offered at the booth? "The Walking Dead graphic novels and exclusive merchandise, along with caps, t-shirts – even a zombie plush toy! In addition, The Walking Dead booth will feature two other series from creator Robert Kirkman: Invincible and the eagerly anticipated The Infinite."
Check out what merchandise was made available at SDCC this year on www.amctv.com (banner-image above via), and if indeed the plush zombie mentioned is the SDCC 2010-release? Then folks might have some fun with this removable-head doll! And would be nice to see some McFarlane-figurines too :p
Funnily enough, I remembered waiting eagerly for the November 9th premiere of this show on FX Channels last year, then I fell victim to Stroke, and missed following the entire first series (but for one sole episode I managed to catch on tv). Hoping they'll do a zombie-infested living room display at the booth this year ala SDCC 2010's tho haha
